30 CE's are awarded when the first 3 modules are completed from the certification program.

This course is designed for Registered Nurses in Illinois to enhance their skills. Reflexology techniques form a comprehensive, therapeutically effective "Clinical" method of treatment. 

Additionally reflexology has proven to be highly successful in encouraging the body's innate restorative energy, thus creating a healing response from a wide range of conditions such as: arthritis pain, cancer nausea and pain, constipation, digestive disorders, headaches, hormonal imbalances, kidney stones, menopausal symptoms, migraine, sinus congestion, type 2 diabetes, back hip knee pain, uterine fibroids, vertigo, and a variety of foot problems such as; heel spurs, Morton's Neuroma, and plantar fasciitis.

Reflexology Research and Nursing Research

Reflexology is being researched in the US, Denmark, and China. Recent studies confirm positive effects of reflexology for vertigo, kidney stones, constipation, bedwetting, sinus congestion, headache, migraine, arthritis pain, internal pain, cancer nausea and pain, type 2 diabetes, digestive disorders, back, hip, knee pain. Hospice research also shows positive signs. 

The use of foot reflexology as a complementary treatment method is recommended as a simple nursing intervention for patients experiencing nausea or pain related to several types of cancer. The results were so positive that researchers recommend that further research using a larger amount of patients in controlled clinical trials be conducted to determine the effectiveness of reflexology in alleviating pain, nausea, and anxiety in the management of these symptoms by the family at home.

Prerequisites: Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)

Three (2) Two-Day Program: Wear comfortable clothing, as this class is about 85% hands-on. 
Bring a pillow and a towel. Participants are responsible for their own lunches.

Class Fee: $350.00 per weekend

Deposit: $100.00 fee is required at least 2 weeks prior to workshop date 
to assure your place. Balance due of $250.

Cancellation policy: A 24 hour notice for cancellation. 
The $100 deposit will not be refunded if notice has not been given.
